Barcelona suffered a heavy 0-4 defeat in the Spanish King's Cup semi-final

Barcelona faced a real disaster at the Metropolitano as they were crushed 0-4 by Atletico Madrid in the opening leg of the Spanish King's Cup semi-final.

The Catalan team not only collapsed in the first half but also failed to score even a consolation goal throughout the remainder of the match.

Right after kickoff, Barcelona took the first possession, but Atletico created the first dangerous chance. In the 3rd minute, Giuliano Simeone broke through to face goalkeeper Joan Garcia following a sharp central combination. However, his shot was denied by the visitor’s keeper's reflexes.
