Following Vietnam's 2-0 victory over Malaysia in the first leg of the 2026 ASEAN Cup semifinals, the atmosphere for the second leg at My Dinh Stadium has heated up instantly. On the black market, ticket prices have soared to 2-4 times the face value, with certain positions being offered for as much as 4 million VND per ticket.

Winning 2-0 on Malaysian soil in Kuala Lumpur gives Vietnam a huge advantage heading into the second leg of the 2026 ASEAN Cup semifinal. This result not only boosts Coach Kim Sang Sik's team's chances of reaching the final but also sharply increases the demand for tickets to the My Dinh Stadium match.

Earlier, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) held two online sales for this highly anticipated match. Official tickets came in four price tiers: 300,000 VND, 500,000 VND, 700,000 VND, and 1 million VND, depending on the seat location in the stands.

However, right after Vietnam's win in Kuala Lumpur, unofficial market ticket prices immediately began to "dance".

According to observations on online ticket trading forums, many tickets are being offered at multiples of their original price. In Section A, 2nd floor, gates 1-2 (VIP area) are being listed for up to 4 million VND each, four times the 1 million VND face value. Meanwhile, gates 3-4, which are invitation-only areas, are being sold for around 3.5 million VND per ticket.

Gates 5-6 seats are priced at about 2 million VND per ticket, while the original price was 1 million VND. Tickets for gates 7-8-9-10 have also been pushed to around 1.5 million VND, compared to the original 700,000 VND. On the 5th floor of Section A, gates 1-2 are quoted at about 1.6 million VND, gates 3-4 at about 1.5 million, and gates 5-6-7-8 range around 1.2 million VND per ticket.

Thus, even lower-priced seats are being resold with a significant markup.

A similar situation occurs in Section B. Second-floor tickets at gates 1-2 are being offered for about 2.5 million VND each, while the original price is 1 million VND. Gates 3-4 tickets cost around 2.2 million VND, and gates 5-6 are listed at 2 million VND. Tickets for gates 7-8-9-10 go for about 1.5 million VND, more than double the official 700,000 VND.

Meanwhile, Section B's 5th-floor tickets are being sold for 1.2-1.6 million VND each, depending on location, while the original price was only about 500,000-700,000 VND. In Sections C and D, which have the lowest official prices, tickets have also been pushed to around 600,000 VND, double the 300,000 VND face value.

Vietnam's 2-0 first-leg victory makes the match at My Dinh especially attractive. Fans are eager to witness the national team secure a place in the ASEAN Cup final on home soil. The soaring demand, coupled with limited official tickets, is what has made the unofficial ticket market so active.

According to reports, many scalpers are even proactively buying tickets from fans at high prices, then reselling them at even larger margins. Scalpers also predict that prices could continue to rise in the days leading up to the match, especially if the number of people wanting to enter the stadium keeps increasing.

However, fans should be cautious when buying tickets through unofficial channels to avoid the risk of counterfeit tickets, used tickets, or losing money without receiving any ticket.
