28-year-old Dutch international moves to Saudi League! Transfer fee €61 million, Manchester City sells at a loss after just one year since signing.

On August 14, Beijing time, renowned transfer expert Romano confirmed with his iconic "HERE WE GO" that 28-year-old Manchester City midfielder Reijnders is set to leave. He will move to Saudi League side Al-Qadsiah, and an oral agreement has been reached.

The two clubs are currently exchanging documents, but no official signing has taken place. Reijnders did not participate in Manchester City training and is waiting for a flight to Saudi Arabia.

It is reported that the transfer fee for Reijnders is €61 million. This represents a loss of €9 million compared to what Manchester City paid to sign him a year ago. According to multiple media reports, AC Milan will receive a €14 million sell-on fee from this transfer.

Born on July 29, 1998, Reijnders plays as a midfielder. In the summer of 2025, he transferred from AC Milan to Manchester City for a total fee of €70 million, consisting of €55 million plus €15 million in add-ons.

Last season, Reijnders made 50 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 8 assists. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €50 million.

It is reported that Manchester City are interested in signing Argentine midfielder Enzo, and Chelsea are willing to sell, but they are asking for as much as £120 million. Manchester City may recoup most of the funds needed to sign Enzo by selling Rodri and Reijnders.
