Sir Alex Ferguson was seen attending the Etihad Stadium for the FA Cup quarter-final clash between Man City and Liverpool.

Prior to the FA Cup quarter-final between Man City and Liverpool, fans of both teams and media captured images of Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary Manchester United manager, entering the Etihad Stadium with a cheerful and relaxed expression. Notably, his elegant suit paired with a deep red tie stood out under certain lighting angles.

Interestingly, during the moment when Man City established a four-goal lead over Liverpool, Sir Alex appeared exceptionally satisfied and inexplicably delighted. This is considered highly surprising, as these two clubs have been major rivals of Manchester United both historically and currently. While Man City is the "noisy neighbor," Liverpool has consistently rivaled Manchester United during their peak periods, evidenced by their comparable number of Premier League titles.

According to Manchester Evening News, Sir Alex's presence at this match was simply because he wanted to enjoy a top-tier football game during the Easter weekend. Given that Manchester United had been eliminated early from the FA Cup and had not played a home match until their upcoming Premier League fixture against Leeds United, this was clearly the most reasonable choice. Nevertheless, despite both teams being significant rivals during his managerial career, Ferguson maintained a completely neutral stance, even while at the Etihad.

On the stands, not only was the Scottish legend present, but also another renowned strategist: Pep Guardiola, although he had to watch the match from the VIP area due to a suspension from coaching. In the first half, Guardiola experienced various emotional shifts, particularly showing frustration when his team was denied a penalty after a collision between Szoboszlai and Bernardo Silva.
